You Shriek has taken a hard turn away from acid goth and aimed more towards electro-ambient industrial with the release of the EP. The vocals of Raziel combined with the wonderfully composed lyrics and programming style make You Shriek a band that continues to put high quality music without the sacrifice of If the elegance of the packaging of this single could say anything about the quality of the music or the unique remixing of each track it would. I'm still trying to figure out the last track on the single hidden way out in the middle of nowhere. The track itself is mostly a spoken word conversation with a few bits of assorted noise and rhythm juxtaposed amongst the virtual dialogue. It almost borders on cyberpunk with the obscure terminology and derived connotation which is exceedingly odd considering the bands previous avoidance of technology in it's musical message. The end product of this single is a sharply defined musical construct which should not be missed.
