Finally a compilation from Cleopatra that really peaks my interest. After
sorting through the previous years worth of compilations, none of which seemed
to stand out, Wired Injections appears worthy of even the mix tapes I make for
my own personal tape deck in my car. Perhaps I'm being a little more
condescending than I ought to be but I was never one for compilations where the
music can be found on each artists own album. However in this case the tracks
clicked very well together and I realized that somebody must have rifled my CD
collection for all my favorite Cleopatra recording artists' tracks and pressed
a CD. The title for the compilation even has a nifty ring to it. Now if I only
hadn't cracked CD when I was carrying it my bag on the way to reviewing it.
Alas, the hands of fate have stepped in and toyed with the laws of entropy to
destroy my amazement.
