The first single off the new album 'Hard Wired' contains a CD-ROM track which
includes a biography of the band, a rather incomplete discography, and the
video for 'Millennium' as a MPEG movie. The installation of the program that
runs all this software was a proverbial pain in the ass as it was all in
German, had to be run on a PC and the PCI drivers to run the various video and
audio cards had to be painstakingly installed properly without any idea which
was which. Also contained on the CD are three remixes of the title track and a
non album track titled 'Epidemic'. The liner notes contain all of the lyrics
much like on the new album, a practice started only recently with the release
of 'Millennium' after an IRC interview with Bill & Rhys when a majority of the
fan base begged for transcribed lyrics for all of their back catalog. Each of
the remixes are diverse enough to satisfy even a first time listener of FLA and
the non album track is it's usual high quality as it's been on the past four
single releases. If your a completest you'll definitely want to have this
single for all of the CD- ROM information as well as the oddities and versions
of "Circuitry".
