Although quite obviously a gothic act, Fade has the annoying problem of sounding like an easy listening act from time to time. The last thing one would expect when listening to a traditional electro gothic act is to have someone sounding like Michael Bolton crooning over the music. Don't get me wrong, the lead vocalist's range is dynamic, but it is still rather unnerving at times. Musically the band isn't crossing into any new territory, but rather rehashing the popular guitar, drums, keyboard approach. The end result is a very straight forward album with no real surprises or intricacies that would allow them to stick out from the crowd. Of course the vocalist will always have the option of singing love ballads to overage women if he ever gets bored with this particular project.

Fade is:
Tom Malone - bass, vocals
Mark McGettrick
Adam Winkler - guitar
Carrie Ingber - keyboards and mxrs
