Bol is Yugoslavian for 'pain' and this album is dedicated "To the people who
still instill hate." Bol has the unique ability to
build upon a self admitted Nitzer Ebb drum rhythm and thrust it at the listener
with a level of intensity far beyond it's original intention. The music is
primarily electronic with a guitar only appearing courtesy of Siedbold of Hate
Dept. on two tracks. The lyrics showcase how upset Generation X is at being
labeled by the media and most of the samples are taken from really cheesy porn
movies. Bol is trying to awaken their listener into accepting the reality into
which they've been born and instead of becoming apathetic, to get off their
asses and do something about it. The album although being the fourth release by
BOL still remains rough around the edges and is grasping at straws for a
definitive cohesive style. A perverse social experiment which pierces the veil
of accepted decency in an attempt to wake up the minds of today's youth.
